When my family came over during the Paris Island, we were not treated any better. All I got to say is if you expect any sympothy from me your are not going to get it. The story of how bad it was has been passed from generation to generation. I do not see any differences. The only difference is we had to learn to speak English. German is still a put down language and everybody only remembers Hitler! So, as far as I am concerned, "Remember the Alamo!"
